A vacation at the Gateway Grand is an experience like no other in Ocean City, located in the ideal setting in mid town on 48th Street and the Ocean. Your first steps will introduce you to an expansive lobby with soaring ceilings, marble floors and a wall of windows with views of the incredible white sandy coastline that stretch for miles. Prepare for your vacation of a lifetime as you relax in our professionally decorated condo located on the 14th floor of the building. Step on to the balcony to experience the most breathtaking, panoramic views of the Ocean, Beach, South Ocean City and the Bay. You will find the perfect place to relax at the end of the day with a glass of wine or a good book or just watch the surfers catching the waves. On a clear day, grab the binoculars to view the untouched Assateague Island National Seashore.
We intentionally decorated our condo with the hues of the ocean and beach to bring the outdoors experience inside. You’ll find a bright and airy gourmet kitchen equipped granite counters, a large island with 4 chairs and a wine refrigerator. The front of the condo features an open floor plan that connects the kitchen, dining room and living room to the balcony via two large sliding glass doors. The living room features a large flat screen TV, DVD and BluRay DVD players and wireless Internet. One of the two sofas in the living room converts to a queen sleep sofa. The master bedroom features a king bed, flat panel TV and a luxurious private bath equipped with a jetted tub, upscale shower and granite vanity with two sinks. The second bedroom has a queen bed and private bath with tub/shower. The third bedroom has a double/single bunk bed with a single trundle bed. All bedrooms have flat panel TVs. A third full bath with shower is located in the hall next to the 3rd bedroom. The unit has a laundry room with washer and dryer. On the Mezzanine level of the building you will find a private storage area with beach chairs, umbrellas, sand toys and boogie boards. This helps keep those sandy items from being carried to the condo.
The Gateway Grand is the most stunning property in Ocean City. It features large dramatic indoor and outdoor pools, a beautiful ocean front veranda equipped with tables, chairs and umbrellas, an upscale fitness center with treadmills, elliptical and weight machines and a state of the art kid’s play room equipped with the latest video games (Wii, Playstation, XBOX), 42” Flat Panel TVs and various board games. Attached by an enclosed walk way is a 4 story parking garage. The building is extremely secure with controlled access, manned front desk and security on duty 24/7. Concierge “Call on Jack” service is provided to make reservations or if requested, stock the kitchen prior to your arrival.
Across the street you will find two OC favorites: Dumser’s restaurant known for their famous ice cream and Seacrets restaurant and nightclub offering live bands/ DJs, a family restaurant and bayside beach bar. Walk a short block south to find the Satellite Café, one of Ocean City’s most famous breakfast restaurants. Ocean City bounds with endless activities such as, Water/ Amusement Parks, arcades, miniature golf, bike and moped rentals, jet ski and boat rentals, fishing charters, parasailing, surfing, kite sailing, go carts, boogie boarding, signature 18-hole golf courses, restaurants, local and outlet shopping and the famous 2.5 mile boardwalk.

This is a beautiful condo centrally located in the middle of Ocean City. The views are spectacular–able to see the ocean and the bay from the balcony. The location makes it easy to walk to restuarants and shopping or catch the bus down to the inlet. It’s also an easy 45min drive to the Rehoboth outlets. The condo is constructed well and the windows and doors block out the street noise below.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, people with disabilities.

We stayed here last August and thoroughly enjoyed it! The pictures don’t really do the condo justice. It was very clean and everything was very well maintained. The colors used throughout were perfect for the seaside atmosphere and provided a very relaxing environment. Plenty of room for all and there were 3 adults and 3 children. We loved the fact that out the rear exit of the Gateway was the beach. We also appreciated the fact that the owner provided beach chairs, an umbrella & various beach toys for the kids along with the beach buggy to haul it all. I would highly recommend this property and the rental company employees (especially Shirley) aim to please! Would definitely LOVE to go there again!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.
